Adie is a licensed graduate social worker pursuing LICSW licensure. She has been working in the mental health field for over 6 with a variety of different populations, including: adults and children with developmental disability and intellectual disabilities, folks with eating disorders, individuals with extensive trauma histories, and in skilled nursing/long-term care.
Adie has a particular passion for working with folks navigating young adulthood and life transitions. She enjoys work with folks working on navigating relationship concerns, establishing boundaries, processing relational or sexual trauma, practicing emotional vulnerability, increasing self-esteem, and strengthening emotional regulation skills. Adie integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into her therapeutic practice. Adie’s primary goal is to create a warm and safe environment for every client. With a passion for working with folks new to therapy, she emphasizes strong therapeutic rapport, client-centered sessions, and a nonjudgemental environment to process anything and everything. While outside of the therapy space, Adie enjoys creative writing, live music, birdwatching, art, laughing with friends and family, and jumping into Minnesota’s many lakes. Adie would describe herself as nonjudgemental, calming, down-to-earth, and funny.
