Lejla is committed to helping individuals heal from past trauma, anxiety, depression, changes in life, relationship difficulties, and grief and loss. She believes that building a strong relationship with her clients develops the most productive space for healing and feels honored when she is invited to experience their unique life story with them. She frequently incorporates mindfulness, strength-based approaches, relaxation techniques, curiosity and a little bit of humor in her sessions.
Lejla has experience in working with adolescents, teenagers, and adults. Her clinical focus includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strength-based therapy, and client-centered approach to healing and meeting the individual where they are at. She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Natural Lifemanship I. She has experience in providing equine assisted therapy to clients while utilizing relationships with horses and the nature to promote growth and healing. In her personal life, she likes to spend time with her husband and their daughter, visit with family and friends, put together a pretty cool garden and go out on nature hikes. Lejla is passionate about advocating for underrepresented groups and animals.
