Jason Cook, MA, LPCC

Jason has been working in the field of mental health for the past 15+ years and he has been licensed as a therapist for the past three and half years. Jason really enjoys working with all age groups, from children as young a six years old to elderly adults. Jason has a history of working in drug treatment, sexual treatment, community mental health and outpatient mental health treatment. Jason focuses on utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. He also utilizes child-centered play therapy to help facilitate the therapy process. Jason works with individuals for individual therapy as well as couples for marriage therapy. Jason believes that his varied work experiences gives him a unique perspective and understanding of the different life experiences that people live with and he feels that he is able to use these experiences to connect with his clients, which he believes is very beneficial to the therapeutic relationship.

​Outside of therapy, Jason enjoys spending time with his two children and wife. He enjoys reading, exercising and spending time in nature. Jason would describe himself as a very "laid-back" person and really enjoys learning new things.

Jessica Meyer, MS, LPCC

Jessica has worked in the mental health field for over 7 years and is experienced in working with individuals ages 8 and up. She believes that our minds, bodies, and souls are wired for healing. She utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to meet individuals where they are at on their journey. Jessica values therapeutic relationships and believes healing begins when people begin to feel known.

Jessica has worked in a variety of settings including substance abuse recovery settings, school-based therapy, and psychiatric residential treatment. The varying treatment settings have given her the opportunity to meet work with many people in different seasons of their life to reach their goals. Jessica is experienced in working with individuals who are living with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, self-esteem issues, behavioral issues, mood disorders, substance abuse, and women’s health issues.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Jessica loves being creative and expressing herself through DIY projects and home décor. She also enjoys cooking and being outside.

Lori's 32 years of experience in the mental health field has been working with women's mental health, hoarding, gender identity issues, individuals living with mood disorders, thought disorders, weight related issues, along with self-esteem/self-care problems. She has worked in the criminal mental health court system and has experience working with individuals who are on probation and also struggling with mental health symptoms. Also in her career, Lori has worked with clients with developmental disabilities/lower cognitive functioning. She is experienced in working with chemical dependency and physical health disabilities.  Lori's career has been with working with adults and is very open to working with youth.

Lori believes in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship as well as each individual having the power to heal themselves.  She believes in a strength based, solution focused approach to therapy.  She works with her clients to not only overcome their current circumstances, but to also develop tools and strategies that they can use moving forward in their lives.

In her spare time, Lori enjoys practicing mindfulness and meditation, going to antique shows, art fairs, expanding her knowledge and ongoing self-improvement. She loves spending time with her cats, fishing and spending time with friends and family. 

Lori believes that everyone matters and deserves to live a life that fulfills them.

Nikia Gustafson, M.S. ED, LPCC, LADC​

Nikia is a licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor who has been working in the field of mental health for the past 15 years. She works with adolescents and adults, as they navigate emotional and behavioral concerns as well as relationship challenges. Nikia focuses on utilizing person centered therapy, alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) while using motivational interviewing techniques to better help clients develop increased self-awareness, mindfulness and often self-compassion. She is experienced in helping clients with co-occurring disorders and specializes in the treatment of addiction, anxiety disorders and stress management.

Nikia believes one of the most important components of the therapeutic setting is the relationship. She strives to provide a non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable and open to share your story and challenges. Nikia believes that everyone has the ability and power to help themselves, but sometimes we need a little guidance and skill development to help us along our journey.

In her free time, Nikia enjoys traveling, hiking state and national parks, and exploring new restaurants.

Samantha has been working in the field of psychology for the last 10 years. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults and uses a variety of techniques to meet her client’s needs. Samantha has a particular interest in working with new parents and individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. 

Samantha takes a developmentally and multiculturally informed approach and believes in working with the client to develop a plan that is centered around the client’s needs. Samantha believes every person has a variety of identities that influence how we perceive and interact with the world. These identities tell the story of our lives and should be celebrated. Samantha believes that you are the expert of your life. Her role as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive environment for you to express your needs, thoughts, and feelings. Samantha works to create a safe and inclusive therapeutic space for individuals of all gender and sexual identities. 

Samantha has five years experience working in ABA therapy with kids on the Autism Spectrum, in both center-based and in-home settings. Beyond this, Samantha has spent the last 7 years working in a variety of psychological assessment settings doing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments under the direct supervision of licensed psychologists. She also has experience working in the area of forensic psychology, working with adolescents and adults involved in the legal system. 

In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her spouse, child, and dog. She enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, going for family walks, watching movies, reading and baking.

Beth is a licensed professional clinical counselor who has been working in the field of mental health for the past 10+ years. She works with all age groups, from ages six years and up, in addition to working with couples. Beth focuses on utilizing person centered therapy, alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She also holds certification in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and has particular interest and experience working with addictions, eating disorders, body image issues, self-worth/self-esteem, stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. 

Beth approaches her work with non-judgement and openness in an effort to create a safe and secure space for all clients to explore difficult areas of their lives. She strives to meet the individual treatment needs of each client and views therapy as a collaborative and empowering process. She truly believes that all individuals are capable of change and growth, no matter how impossible it may seem.

Aside from therapy, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, other family members, and friends. She enjoys spending solo time reading, cooking/baking, and running.

Stefanie Wallace, MA, LMFT

Stefanie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), since 2016, whom has been working in the field of mental health since 2001. Stefanie has worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, in home services, transitional treatment and outpatient therapy. She has been working in outpatient mental health therapy since 2015, seeing clients for various reasons including mood concerns, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, grief and loss, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, substance use and self-growth/enhancement. Stefanie works with individuals ages 10 and older, couples and families.

Stefanie strives to create a safe space and uses a non-judgmental, compassionate and supportive approach in therapy. She focuses on the mind/body connection, and enhancing ones’ ability to recognize how to best use their strengths to improve their current situation and/or desired change(s). Also, exploring and gaining ongoing awareness of ourselves, as it pertains to where we are in life and where we wish to be.

Stefanie uses various techniques to help aid in the therapy process, including person centered, strength based, systems and solution focused therapies, as well as mindfulness and art-based techniques. Stefanie will work with you, or your loved one, to create a therapy plan to help you in achieving your life goals. Stefanie enjoys being in nature, fishing, boating, hiking, cooking/baking, arts/crafts and spending time with loved ones and her cats.

Eric Schuck, MA, LPCC

Eric has been working in the field of mental health for the past 5 years. Eric uses an integrated and person-centered approach to therapy. Eric frequently applies cognitive behavioral approaches to work with clients on building an understanding of how thoughts, emotions and behaviors influence each other. Eric strives to support clients in changing maladaptive behavior through the use of more adaptive coping strategies to reduce the impact of mental health symptoms. Eric encourages processing the sources of symptoms and developing a better understanding of their values and beliefs as it can be beneficial to working with them to make choices and changes that they are satisfied with. Eric believes that the integrative, person-centered approaches to therapy allows for flexibility in meeting the individual needs of a client while building a relationship that supports recovery and growth.
 
Eric has a history of working with co-occurring substance use and mental health issues, personality disorders, trauma disorders, autism spectrum disorder, psychotic disorders, mood disorders and a variety of other diagnoses. Eric has worked in-home, community and in residential treatment centers that has given him experience in working with a wide variety of life stages. Eric’s has worked with adults and teenagers and would like to expand his experience to working with youth populations.   
 
Outside of therapy, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs. Eric enjoys DIY home improvement projects, spending time outdoors, playing video games and traveling.

Jennifer Abrahamson, MA, LPCC

Jen is a licensed professional clinical counselor who has been working in the mental health field for the past 12 years. She works with individuals ages 18 and up. Jen focuses on utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy as well as weaving in psychoeducation and skills from other modalities that would be beneficial to meeting client needs. She has interest and experience in working with anxiety, attention and concentration issues, body image issues, depression, eating disorders, self-worth/self-esteem and stress.

Jen approaches her clients with warmth and compassion to create a space for them to feel safe opening up without fear of judgment while working through the challenges they are facing in their lives. She strives to meet each individual where they are at and develop treatment goals based on what the client believes will make positive changes for their lives. She believes that with the right amount of encouragement and support everyone is capable of making positive changes.

When not doing therapy, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, watching them participate in their various activities. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out and reading.

Clare has been working in the mental health field for 8+ years. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults and utilizes a wide variety of techniques to meet her client’s needs. Clare uses Art Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a trauma-informed framework, and a Person-Centered approach to work collaboratively with her clients.

As an art therapist, clients have the option to engage in creative techniques. No experience with art is required. Art therapy applies visual arts and the creative process to support, maintain, and enhance health. Like other forms of psychotherapy, art therapy encourages growth and self-awareness. Art therapy provides an alternative way of accessing and processing feelings that may be difficult to articulate.

Clare has experience working with underserved populations, children and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and individuals who have experienced trauma. Clare has also worked in a variety of settings including: school-based settings, settings with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, forensic psychology settings with adolescents involved in the legal system, and has 3 years of experience working in a community outpatient mental health setting.
