Cassidy is a licensed graduate social worker pursuing an LICSW licensure. She has been working in the mental health field for over 7 years in various settings including community-based, outpatient, and school-based therapy. Cassidy has a wealth of experience helping clients in the 6-18 age range but works with all clients ages 6 and up. With a focus on meeting clients where they are in their healing journey, Cassidy integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, mindfulness techniques, play therapy, and some aspects of art therapy into her therapeutic practice.
Cassidy’s goal, first and foremost, is to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. She strives to facilitate an environment in which clients are comfortable opening up about their life experiences and exploring avenues for healing. She genuinely believes in utilizing a client-first approach to therapy. Cassidy works collaboratively with clients to explore and build strengths, while navigating life difficulties. Cassidy specializes in working with clients living with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and difficulties managing concentration/attention. In her free time, Cassidy loves to spend time with her family and friends, listen to music, go to concerts, read, and engage in creativity through various art projects. Cassidy would describe herself as outgoing and empathetic, with a joyful and bubbly personality.
