Beth is a licensed professional clinical counselor who has been working in the field of mental health for the past 10+ years. She works with all age groups, from ages six years and up, in addition to working with couples. Beth focuses on utilizing person centered therapy, alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She also holds certification in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and has particular interest and experience working with addictions, eating disorders, body image issues, self-worth/self-esteem, stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression.
Beth approaches her work with non-judgement and openness in an effort to create a safe and secure space for all clients to explore difficult areas of their lives. She strives to meet the individual treatment needs of each client and views therapy as a collaborative and empowering process. She truly believes that all individuals are capable of change and growth, no matter how impossible it may seem. Aside from therapy, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, other family members, and friends. She enjoys spending solo time reading, cooking/baking, and running.
